We meet twice a month for learning and planning our actions towards racial justice:

About the Towards Racial Justice small group

• We participate in ongoing learning about racism to better understand how it is embedded in the policies and practices of society and organizations, and the impact these inequitable policies have on people of color.
• We participate in ongoing learning to uncover and take action on our implicit biases and embedded ways of seeing the world that create inequity, division, and injustice.
• We participate in organized action to seek justice and wellbeing of ourselves and our neighbors

Our group draws people from across the US including Pennsylvania, Arkansas, and Texas. Because of this, our meetings are online, but the work that we do can be local, regional, or national. 

The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd is a member congregation of POWER Lancaster County, a regional subgroup of POWER Interfaith.
